Geoscience Plugin for QGIS 4

QGIS 4 just landed on my Kubuntu machine as the default, so I thought it’s about time to update the Geoscience plugin. The new version 1.20 is good to go if you want to try it on the latest QGIS.

QGIS 4 is based on the QT6 framework, which has some stricter namespace requirements and a few minor changes. It still takes about 3 hours to update and test a plugin the size of Geoscience. I’ve tested it to process drill holes, create downhole markers, make sections, set raster backgrounds transparent and create local grids. It’s very hard to test all permutations though, so if something fails then send me a message.

I hope you all enjoy it. And, if you want to move to full 3D give Spatial Integration a try as well.
